Sources

Every reference returned by the six research passes behind this app: journal articles, guidelines, drug labels, trial registrations and a few database or search records. The small numbers throughout the app point here.

Research for each area was done separately, so a few works appear under a merged entry. Entries marked check could not be fully verified against the original, so treat them with extra care.

In October 2026 every flagged entry was re-checked against Europe PMC, Crossref, DOAJ and the ClinicalTrials.gov registry. Six turned out to name the wrong authors, the wrong journal or the wrong paper, and two gave a paraphrased title. Those entries now carry a short note saying what was corrected, and several paywalled links were replaced with free copies.

FMF Companion is an educational synthesis of the published literature on Familial Mediterranean Fever, made for a health-science course and for patient understanding.

It is not medical advice. It cannot diagnose, and nothing here should change a treatment without your own clinician. Guideline doses are quoted as published. Please check the original sources, which are listed in full in the Sources module.
